Drillinginfo Web App

Enhancements / Updates
  • Cumulative production metrics (Peak, First 6, First 12, and EUR for Oil, Gas, and BOE) normalized to gross perforated interval, 1MM lbs of proppant, and 1000 Gal Fluid are now available as attributes on the Wells table. Fluid per Perforated Foot was added to the Wells table. These data can be used in charts, for map styling, aggregation, and export. DI Plus customers have access to Production normalized by Gross Perforated Interval, DI Analytics and DI Engineering customers have access to Production normalized by Proppant and Fluid.
  • Filter LandTracs based on whether a Depth Clause is available or on the Depth Clause Type. Read specific Depth Clause information in a details table. Style LandTracs on the Depth Clause Type Depth Clause data is currently available for 15 Permian Basin counties and will be expanded throughout the year.
  • Customers with DI Courthouse subscriptions to Abstract Plant Counties can now search this dataset in Drillinginfo. Filter the data by the map area or with a custom AOI
  • A shapefile export for International Block data was added for Asset Evaluator and Global Explorer subscriptions.
  • When LandTrac Leases are styled on the map, leases in the gray "Other" category are now drawn on the bottom.
  • When LandTrac Leases are styled by grantee on the map with annotations selected, multiple grantee names are now displayed.
  • Standard time bins (year, quarter, month, week) are now used for coloring data according to date attributes on the map. Up to 50 bins will be displayed.
  • Added PracIP BOE to the Production Table, Layer Symbology, and aggregation options.
  • Changed the display name for "Perforated Interval Length" to "Gross Perforated Interval" in the Wells and Production Table
  • Added "Daily Avg Oil", "Daily Avg Gas", and "Daily Avg Water" to the production time series table.
  • Added "Daily Avg Oil", "Daily Avg Gas", and "Daily Avg Water" to the Production Time Series (.CSV) export
  • Added an option to export to Production Time Series (.CSV) exports to include all monthly records or only filtered monthly records (when Monthly Production Date filter is set).
  • Added support for cntrl-click and shift-click to select multiple table rows and map points. Clicks are no longer cumulative unless shift or control are used.
  • Added the ability to use Up and Down arrows to select the next (or previous) row in the table.
  • Clicking on a link in a table row now also selects that row.
  • Well Card, Block Card, and Details tables now update when user clicks on another row in the table.
  • One of each type of Details tables can now be open at the same time. For example, Depth Clause Details and Lease Assignment Details from the LandTrac Lease dataset can be displayed simultaneously.
Defect Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where shapefile exports for LandTrac Leases and other data failed when an AOI was used as a filter.
  • Fixed an issue with permit shapefile exports when bottom hole and directional stick options were selected.
  • Fixed an issue with well shapefile exports when bottom hole and directional stick options were selected.
  • Restored export of the Production table with user customized column order when "Export Table" is used.
  • Fixed a problem where certain ASCII4 exports were failing.

  • [Oklahoma] - Oklahoma production has been historically supplemented back to 2015 (as well as the huge dip in August 2008) with purchaser/transporter tax reports containing gross monthly oil volumes gathered from oil PUNs. This resolves issues regarding OTC oil production volumes where entire months of production were missing. The result from this change will be available in DI Desktop, Production Workspace, DI Analytics, and DI Activity Maps.

  • Pre-calculated EURs - Effective today, Drillinginfo is now providing pre-calculated EURs using its own internally developed Decline Curve Analysis engine. We are very happy with the overall quality of the EURs calculated by our new engine and having internal control of the entire process is a major benefit moving forward. Be on the lookout for a more detailed white paper comparing these internally generated EURs to those previously calculated through a third party provider.

Enhancements / Updates
  • [Louisiana] - Improvements to cross-unit well allocations - Changes were made to the Louisiana allocation algorithm to better handle cross-unit wells. Cross-unit wells are wells with laterals that span multiple units, therefore reporting production to multiple LUWs simultaneously. The Louisiana allocation process was originally designed to handle a well reporting production to multiple LUWs consecutively, but not concurrently. This resulted in cross-unit wells being mishandled as the process would only allocate production to cross-unit wells from one LUW rather than all of the relevant LUWs. Consequently, production for cross-unit wells was often understated and production for other wells on the same LUW’s was often artificially inflated. The allocation process was updated to allocate production to cross-unit wells from all associated LUWs. The associated LUW’s contribution to the well’s production is prorated based off of the percentage of lateral in each unit.
