DI Engineering

Enhancements / Updates
  • Additive Summary: Simple, three-table delivery of available data . This includes: 1) A header table - provides basic well header information. 2) A chemical ingredient table - provides detail on the chemicals used for each treatment job. 3) An additive mass roll up table - provides an analyzed view with roll ups for chemical purpose
  • Additive Summary: Field additions to the header table: 1) Number of treatment days field 2) Frac type classification field (analyzed by DI) 3) Frac vendor identification field (analyzed by DI)
  • Enhanced mining algorithm for ingredient, trade name, and purpose data.
Defect Fixes
  • Revised gaps in the previous calculation algorithm to eliminate large mass calculations for additives.
  • CSV pipe delimited format issues because of reported ingredients containing pipes

DI Engineering

Enhancements / Updates
  • EUR database: b factors have been constrained between 0 and 2 to provide reasonable EURs
  • EUR database: Inclining production trend is no longer modeled - any months prior to the month of maximum production are linearly interpolated from that maximum. This linear trend is for graphical purposes only and is not used in calculation of EURs
  • EUR database: An EUR is calculated only if there is a minimum of 6 months of overall declining production data. Multiple segments may be identified, if there is a series of at least 5 production values per segment
  • EUR database: The model carries out a 'goodness of fit' test that throws out bad model fits in order to provide quality EUR values
  • Updated TVD source: Various sources for TVD are listed in the ‘tvdSource’ column
  • Engineering Explorer: Drillinginfo now identifies the service company that performed the frac job, listed under ‘FracVendorName’. This information is available in most visualizations in DI Engineering Explorer, including the well map, relationship tree and as a column in the Export tab. It is also available as a filter option in the filter panel
  • Engineering Explorer: A new export option is now available in the ‘Export’ tab in DI Engineering Explorer. The ‘Frac Detail Rollup’ export format displays rolled up proppant and fluid values for all completion events, from all completion filing sources, available for the well. This export option differs from the ‘Well Rollup’ format, since the ‘Well Rollup’ export only displays rolled up treatment values for the first completion event of every well
