[Texas] - Allocated Input Improvements: We've made several improvements to our Texas allocated data set related to the inputs. (1) Injection Wells - we've introduced several measures to identify some of these wells and handle them properly. We're using various new sources of data including the RRC's UIC data and DI's internal completion data to more accurately identify injection wells that should not receive allocated production volumes. (2) Changing API Numbers - The RRC reassigns API numbers over time which can cause issues if the history isn't tracked properly. We've addressed this using the Texas Wellbore file and we will be using that data to clean up changing API numbers in the Allocated data set. (3) Correct Allocation Start Dates - Using completion data from DI Ingestion teams, we were able to identify Entity IDs that had an Allocation Start Date derived from an incorrect completion date. The start dates have been adjusted to the actual completion dates. (4) Monitor Wells - Business rules were developed to help identify monitor wells in unconventional plays. These wells were previously being allocated oil and gas volumes, but are now excluded from the allocation algorithm.
New User Interface: With a focus on optimizing your workflow, the new UX delivers uncompromising simplicity and power.
Customize search results: Move column headers with a simple click, and drag or use granular filters to see exactly what you need .
One screen access: Search, get results, and build your runsheet all in the same window. Focus on higher value tasks with a faster workflow
Prior Reference searches: Constructing a chain of title is a very time consuming task requiring multiple searches through grantor/grantee indices. Do it in hours not weeks by getting the documents you need faster. With prior reference, any source document entered in the search field will deliver back every document that referenced the source. This means less digging, and more analysis.
Range of acreage searches: Locating a specific tract of land is a tedious and time consuming task, especially when there is a gap in title. Searching by range of acreage helps filter out information you do not need which helps you focus on the tract of interest.
Advanced Admin controls: Managing the relationship between in-house and independent landmen can be complex and burdensome. With “Super User” controls, independent contractors can quickly and easily be assigned access to Drillinginfo data. Easy-to-use and granular management of access means less time managing relationships, and more time managing your business.
User Analytics tools: It can be hard keeping track of a projects progress as well as understanding when work is declining—leading to wasted resources. With user analytics, you will run detailed reports down to the seconds each user spends in DI Courthouse. Understanding activity and usage will create less guesswork when making resource allocation decisions.
Sharing and Collaboration tools: Title work is constantly being replicated — and many times lost — when transitioning work from one person to the next. The ability to see everyone's work on one platform means tighter alignment across the organization. Base title can be passed along to others for easy collaboration, or view results to analyze quality and progress.
Select multiple basins or plays at once to analyze aggregate production or compare productivity in one play versus another. Users can also change basins from the filter panel without returning to the Resource Selection map
